About

I was born and raised on PEI.  I did a year in Ottawa to work in the House of Commons before returning to finish my degree in political studies and philosophy.  In university, I did a host of freelance writing (with various levels of success).  I edited the official UPEI newspaper and was the managing editor of a very cool bi-weekly unofficial paper at UPEI called The Semantic.  I miss working with both of them but do not miss freelance deadlines remotely.  I will still do freelance work if I don’t have too much on my plate.  Somewhere along the way I ended up working as Tim Banks‘ Executive Assistant and Social Media secretary, which is where I am now.  Neither he nor APM share my opinions – especially if they’re political!

I love reading, music, and cooking.
